It feels like the console versions are always lacking features, and the single player campaigns are weak on a mass conflict scale.īattlefield 2142 looks impressive, though I’ll admit that I’m a little bored of the Battlefield series. Those games are nowhere near as good the computer standard.

I do not, however, like the weak ports on the consoles, including the 360 iteration. I happen to like the settings and features of the modern battlefield. It’s beautiful, immersive, fun to play, and very competitive. Almost everybody quite playing several months after it was released.īattlefield 2 is my favorite Battlefield game so far. Then again, World War II is a great inspiration for games and a hard conflict to top.īattlefield Vietnam was a great idea, but it seemed to dry up before it even started. It was one of the greatest World War II games ever made. The expansion packs really added new life to the game as it aged. Battlefield 1942 set a standard that has yet to be eclipsed. I agree with just about everything V360 said. Mario on the 360? Blasphemy! Bite your tongue for even suggesting such a preposterous idea! How could you possibly betray Nintendo like that? I'm just kidding! I think you're becoming an Xbox 360 fangirl, and that's worrisome.

Now, all we have to do is wait and see if Call of Duty will get a "futuristic" setting. If they made more games that were not so much too far into the future like that, I'd be totally supportive of it. I noticed "2142" is only coming to the PC (for now), so I'll wait and see if EA decides to port it to the Xbox360 (as they did with BF2: MC).Īnd I'm also aware of Battlefield: Bad Company coming to the Xbox360 and that looks pretty sweet. Without question, it was one of the best WWII games to ever be created and released. Some people have said that Battlefield 1942 is still the best and I kind of agree. I didn't really like the single-player campaign of "Modern Combat", but thought the multiplayer was fun (although, I also thought it did have some issues). Minor gripes aside, the game looks good and I've always enjoyed riding around in vehicles and blowing $*it up! Piloting those helicopters in Battlefield 2: MC was so much fun! The futuristic setting is nice for Battlefield (sort of refreshing departure from all those "modern" war settings, but at the same time, I'm kind of getting tired of these far-into-the-future FPS games as well). I like the "Ice Age" story idea and soldiers are not fight extraterrestrials, but another nation. I apologize for the long read.Īlright, as for Battlefield 2142, I'm interested in trying out the game. Otherwise, I couldn't imagine the idea.Īnyway, I'm glad you enjoyed reading our responses to the "exclusivity" thread.

Hmm.I could ONLY see this happening if Nintendo went the Sega route and became a third-party. "But Ted, let's be real.how awesome would it be to play Mario on the 360? "
